Common applications
Where this film is commonly used
Cover the finished face while a part moves through assembly, handling or packing. Choose an adhesive that holds during the process and releases when protection is no longer needed.

Display cover surfaces
Cover the smooth outer face during handling and packing. Trial coated covers and specify optical or anti-static requirements.
Finished glass panels
Help prevent light handling scratches while glass moves between workstations. Keep grit out from under the film.
Smooth plastic panels
Cover acrylic signs and smooth plastic covers during packing. Check the selected adhesive on any printing or hard coating.
Polished metal panels
Protect a finished steel or metal face during assembly and delivery. Check adhesion and removal on the actual finish.

Animated usage guide
How to Apply & Remove the Film
Follow one glass panel from cleaning to removal. The example uses film with a peel-off backing; skip backing removal for rolls supplied without one.
Wipe the surface clean and dry
Use a clean, soft cloth to remove dust and grit. Choose a cleaning method suitable for the finish, then let the surface dry completely.
Illustrated dry application. Blue shows the PET film; amber marks the adhesive side and grey shows the peel-off backing. Use clean, non-scratching tools.
After the expected protection time, check adhesion, lifting, appearance and removal on the actual part. Include any heat or humidity. A short test on bare glass does not establish suitability for a coated screen.

Frequently asked questions
Product questions & ordering information
Product & use
How is PET protective film different from PE static-cling film?
This PET film has an acrylic or silicone adhesive coating on one side. PE static-cling film attaches without an applied glue coating. Choose according to the surface, handling and removal requirements; the two constructions are not interchangeable in every process.
Should I choose acrylic or silicone adhesive?
Both are available for PET surface protection. The right choice depends on the surface finish, required holding strength, process temperature and time before removal. Tell us if the part will later be printed, coated or bonded, and test the selected film through that full process.
Will it remove cleanly from a coated or optical surface?
Clean removal depends on the chosen adhesive, surface treatment and exposure conditions. Try the sample for the full protection period, then inspect for residue, haze, marks or coating lift. For optical parts, include light transmission and haze limits in your inquiry.
Can I use it in a heated process or for static-sensitive parts?
Tell us the temperature, exposure time and surface material for a heated process. For static-sensitive electronics, provide the required resistance range and test method. PET backing or silicone adhesive alone does not establish heat resistance or anti-static performance for the finished film.
Can I order custom rolls or pre-cut parts?
Yes. We offer slit rolls and custom pre-cut shapes. The thickness range is 0.035–0.12 mm, with 100 m rolls or custom lengths. Send the dimensions, units, quantity and drawing; the quotation confirms the film construction, any peel-off backing, tolerances, core and packaging.
Ordering & delivery
What are the sample and bulk order lead times?
Samples can be prepared within 48 hours. Bulk orders usually take 7–15 working days. Lead times start when the required payment is received; for orders on deposit terms, this means receipt of the deposit. Shipping time is additional.
How is the film packed? Can I customize it?
Standard packing is clear bags and cartons. Custom packaging and printed labels are also available. Include your packaging or label requirements with your inquiry.
How can you ship my order?
We support express courier, air freight and sea freight. You can also use your own freight forwarder. Share your destination and preferred shipping method so freight costs and estimated transit time can be confirmed for your order.
What are your payment methods and terms?
Payment is by T/T (bank transfer). Orders below US$5,000 require 100% payment in advance. Orders of US$5,000 or more require a 50% deposit, with the remaining 50% paid before shipment.
What will the quotation confirm?
The quotation confirms the product specification, size or drawing, quantity, price, minimum order quantity, packing, production lead time, shipping arrangements and payment terms. Include any sample requirements with your inquiry.
