Kapton Polyimide Tape Introduction
Engineered for mission-critical applications, Kapton Tape utilizes a high-purity polyimide film bonded with premium silicone adhesive, offering continuous service from -80°C to +280°C and short-term exposure up to 400°C (e.g., during soldering or curing). Renowned for its UL 510-certified dielectric strength (≥7,000 V/mil), this tape resists flames (UL 94 V-0), harsh chemicals (acids, solvents, fuels), and thermal cycling without delamination. Its ultra-thin profile (25–125 μm) and 0% thermal shrinkage ensure precise masking for PCB reflow soldering, aerospace wire insulation, and automotive sensor protection. Static-dissipative grades available for ESD-sensitive electronics.
